If you can get your SAT up to 2100, all the colleges you listed above will be a match. Good luck! btw your GPA looks great.

It all depends on your essay. Your raw stats appear to be good for all those schools.

Assuming you write good essays, get 2100+ on the SAT and do well for the interview.

I think you’re pretty solid on all accounts provided that you hit 2100 or so on the SAT and continue your EC’s. Nowhere on the list is unrealistic; I’d say you’re in a pretty good position.

if you’re pakistani then i’d suggest getting your SAT up to a 2250+ for Rice, Northwestern, Cornell and Dartmouth…and maybe 2150+ for UCB. it’d make your app significantly much more competitive at those schools.

like take northwestern for example: the 25th percentile of accepted applicants had a 2060. a 2100 is just barely above that, and once you adjust 2060 by taking into account URMs and athletes, people with legacy and other hooks…that number is actually much higher. nothing on your list seems too unrealistic, though. good luck!

The fact that you haven’t taken any APs will hurt you since colleges want to see a vigorous course schedule. Yours is still vigorous, don’t get me wrong, but I’d load up on APs next year before trying for the Ivies. It makes your app seem more rounded with a couple of APs

To the schools you’re applying to, SAT II aren’t mandatory but there’s no reason that you shouldn’t take them. I’d take the Math II, a Science, and a Humanity test. Shows that you’re well balanced. Also, a lot of the higher tiered schools require them. Look into the requirements for each school so you don’t get hurt by this next year.

Other than that, lookin’ good, and thanks for the help on mine!

Some of the schools you’re applying to require SAT ii’s. MAKE SURE to take them, as they are impressive even if a school does not require them and can let you stand out as an applicant. If you can break 2100 (breaking 2200 will really help your odds) then you have a very nice chance at all your schools. Try to use the rest of this year to exhibit leadership in your ECs and bump up community service years.

Take at least 2 SAT II’s and get 700+ on them. Try to get at least a 2150 on the SAT, and take a lot of APs your senior year. If you do these things you’d be a match at all the schools on this list. As it stands now, I’d say Cornell, Dartmouth, NW, and Berkeley are low reaches.

Sorry for the lack of feedback on Purdue, I’m not familiar with the school!

I disagree with other posters that you haven’t taken enough AP’s. The AP’s you’re taking are very challenging and they will look fine on apps! I would recommend finding one extracurricular you really care about and committing to it/ writing an essay on it. At the moment, your application is strong but it is clear that you don’t have a focus yet. Try to figure out what you want to do in college or at least find some things you are particularly passionate about!

Also, you definitely need to take SAT II’s.

Seeing as you’re in AP Physics now, I STRONGLY suggest you take SAT Physics Subject test as soon as possible. As well as Math Level II.

Get your testing done now this year and finish strong in your classes.

Cornell does require subject tests.

Don’t worry about chances now, just make sure you’re having a successful yet fun junior year. If you get your testing done now you’ll save yourself a lot of hassle when it comes to senior year (trust me, in the process right now, retaking my subject tests at the eleventh hour).

really confused by the people calling NU a match.
i don’t mean to be a downer…just a realist.

if you look at the stats of last year’s accepted applicants, they’re significantly better than OP’s. the people that got waitlisted had better stats too.

same goes for people calling cornell a low reach/high match.
just trying to be honest here.

you’re good! your grades are awesome!
UT Austin - very high Match
Rice - reach
Tulane - Match
Northwestern -low reach
Purdue- match
Cornell- Match
Dartmouth - reach
UC-Berkeley- reach

UT Austin - Safety
Rice - Reach
Tulane - Match
Northwestern - Reach
Cornell - Reach
Dartmouth - High Reach
UCB - High Reach

Your script is really relatable to mine, but you could REALLY use some SAT II’s if you are looking at berkeley and do a larger variety of EC’s for senior year. explore your interests! Then you could probably low reach and match many of the colleges you want to go to!
