Essays: Wrote about how i became a professional referee for my commonapp and about how i tutored an inner city elementary kid in math and how i learned from it for my Nova essay.

I'd say you're in...your SAT's are higher than mine and I got in EA, but I also applied to CAS. So I'd say you have a good shot.

Thanks, do you guys think it would help to contact the admission department in any way to further highlight my interest?

Ctguy, I do think you should write an additional essay to admissions on why Villanova. I think they stop adding information to your file in early February-probably by the end of next week. Last year, my son tried to add a piece of information about a seminar he was asked to attend at Pepperdine University(some business thing) and admissions told him it was too late. He applied RD. My daughter was deferred from Nova several years ago and she wrote an additional essay. She was admitted RD. Good luck....

nah, i think your completely fine, i dont think an additional essay is required

yeah ur alright...

Remember, you want your application to stand out in some way and this could be your chance. Your application just goes into a bigger pool now, instead of lets say 1500 EA business school applicants, it goes into a pool of maybe 5000? You weren't the only one deferred and they all go back into the pool, too. If the school is not your first choice and you don't care, then forget it. But, if you really want to go there, why not?

Thanks to everyone, any more chances?

Unless there are some major surprises for RD, I would say you are most likely all set. Good luck!

so you didnt get into business?
wow that is pretty weird.
maybe cause of your 3.4 gpa?
