<p>I would say you’re a low reach. Your GPA is way too low for Mich. Although everything else on your app is pretty impressive, they really do care about GPA a lot.</p>

<p>So my advice to you is to make sure you get all A’s this semester. You’re the type of student that’s getting deferred because colleges want to see another semester of grades. The thing that worries me is it makes sense that you get B’s if you go to a good high school that’s competitive and take classes. However, if you’re getting 4’s on your APs there’s something more than just a hard class in a hard school that’s getting you those B’s. Your ECs and SATs are definitely above the average UM student, but you need to prove to UM that you’re not going to do badly in your classes through this semesters grades. GL</p>
<p>lol well sigh that’s not happening. I averaged B’s in Spanish and in MV Calc. (also got a C+ on the midyear). Does the fact that only 4 ppl take mv calc in all of high school mean that it’s not necessarily bad the I got a C+? The grading curve is indeed extremely difficult in the class. I have an A+ in unleveled stats (will be Honors/AP 2nd semester), A in psychology, and and B+ in International Relations Honors. B+ in unleveled english.</p>

im in a similar situation as you (3.45 uw, 4.35w, 34 act, great ecs)</p>
