Surprised you were deferred at all, unless Gabelli has different admission critieria than the general Fordham population?

Those stats were golden just a few years ago. Not sure what is going on here. Admissions is quirky…everywhere. If your stats are as you state, I am surprised as well. But taking what you say as accurate, I will say you have a very good chance to be admitted RD. The EA pool is often filled with uber stats and Fordham focuses on getting those kids admitted and committed.

Gabelli generally has stats similar to FCRH, though being a smaller school within the Fordham University colleges, it perhaps has very stringent requirements, and a higher percentage of males (I think) applying than is the case at FCRH.

Good luck.

Honestly I was shocked at the deferral too, I just didn’t want to sound pompous.

Weird stuff happens at all colleges in admissions. Sometimes its random. I have no clue. But it seems your stats are good for an RD admission.

You’ll get in! My last name is Russo too haha

I was accepted into Gabelli EA and had very similar stats to you so I’m surprised you were deferred. The only thing I had more than you is I took 5 AP Courses. So you should have a good chance!

Good luck
