Chance a Delawarean, I promise to chance you back or my name isnt...

PSAT - 1970

Caucasian in Wilmington, Delaware

SAT I: Math - 690
CR - 690
Writing - 590 (don't think it matters, could probably get it up 100 points if i studied)

GPA: UW - 3.7
W - 4.2

Junior schedule: AP US AP English language AP, Calc AB, Honors Chemistry, Honors Spanish 4

Senior schedule : AP Gov AP, English literature, AP Calc BC, Honors/AP Physics, Foods 2 (for the agriculture focus at Cornell) other classes are up in the air

EC: Cross country captain, 4 years lacrosse, 40 volunteer hours (hopefully more soon), runner up at camp impact (marketing camp at lebow school of business)

AP scores: AP Calc - 5, AP US - 3, AP World History - 4

Essay - working with a professional

Recommendations - i assume strong no idea really

Class Rank - 23 out of 293

I am focused on the business fields and hope to play up the agriculture part of Cornell's business school.

Applying to:

Boston C

Carnegie Mellon U

C William and Mary

Cornell U (Early Decision)

U North Car Chap Hl

U Richmond

U Virginia (Second Choice)

Villanova U

Wake Forest U

Without a higher SAT score (and yes I know that was the PSAT), you won’t make it into Cornell, W&M, or CMU. However, Wake Forest is starting to discredit the SAT, so you’ll have an advantage there. You have a dedicated interest, a strong sport, and a solid schedule. Best of luck!

1970 on your PSAT’s???

Hot damn, that’s automatic entry into any university of your choice!!

Hm, at this point, I’d say get your SAT scores up. Besides that, emphasize the business passion that you have and you’ll have a better chance at your listed schools. William and Mary and Carnegie Mellon are reaches as is Cornell. I’m not too sure about UNC and the others. I’m wagering Match-High Match-Low Reach.

bump bump bump

UNC is hard to get into OOS so I would try to bump up that SAT. Cornell is a reach.

Bumpity Bumpity

from experience with people from my school applying, villanova will be very tough with the sat score

not much success with this thread, can I get some more please.

rejected at all…except william and mary and richmond
