any other suggestions?
I understand that my SAT scores aren't that high but I am waitin for my ACT score, which I think is higher.
I also signed up for the ACT for December.

The SAT is important here -compared to your GPA and courseload, it's entirely different. It kind of raises an alarm about the difficulty of your school and whether that matters as much.

But you should be able to do better.

That said, if you can increase that:

Georgetown (EA) School of Foreign Service - reach
Boston College (EA) - high match
Notre Dame - match/probably in
Tufts - match
NYU - match/probably in

That's assuming you get around a 2100. From the rest of your application, it looks like you can do better than that. Georgetown is primarily a reach because of SAT scores, you're interesting everywhere else.

why u depressed man?... chill out... life is good.

FYI, I don't know if you were aware of this but BC is EA-restrictive. This means you may not apply to other schools EA if you want to remain in good standing with the admissions department. They have ways of finding out. If this presents a problem, I recommend you just apply to Gtown EA and wait on BC until regular admissions. Good Luck.

Tufts is a reach

To npsky:
thank you for your opinion.
the thing is. I don't really do good on standardized tests.
besides the ap tests
and yeah, i took the act already so
i should get my score november 14th
thank you for your help

to Conlax:
WOW
i did not know that BC is EA-RESTRICTIVE. I didn't see it on the website when I was applying.
Should I call the admissions department and tell them to move me to regular decision?
I am sure that Georgetown and Notre Dame are not restrictive.
Thank you for your valuable response.

bump.

i would appreciate more opinions.

thank you

ur uc gpa will be capped @ 4.4

oh.
okay.
yeah.
that makes sense
im ELC eligible.

yeah, i didnt know the BC was EA-restrictive either

maybe they changed it?

"Boston College does not permit students to apply under our Early Action program if they are applying to a binding Early Decision program at another college. Students are free to apply to other Early Action and Regular Decision programs."
-From the BC website...applying to other schools Early Action is allowed, however Early Decision is not.

"Boston College does not permit students to apply under our Early Action program if they are applying to a binding Early Decision program at another college. Students are free to apply to other Early Action and Regular Decision programs."

you're fine

OH THANK YOU SO MUCH.
i thought i just really misread the directions
thanks for the info.
how do u guys/girls feel about my chances?

i know my sat scores is a problem
