Well, just remember that these chancing posts are nothing more than psychological salves. Except in really obvious cases, people don’t really know. For example, I think diontechristmas is overly optimistic in saying you are in at Tulane and Miami. Tulane’s average SAT is about 1940, and you have an average GPA for them. You certainly have a good shot at it, but not a definite in. Miami has slightly lower admit stats, but not much (Ignore what Miami reports for GPA, it is weighted, not unweighted. Although if you take that you are below their average weighted GPA). So just be careful of opinions about admissions on here, including mine. Research the stats yourself (you probably have) and cover all your bases by applying to a good variety of schools.

Tulane and Miami notoriously overinflate their GPA and SAT averages. I know tons of people from my HS who have gotten in with basically the same boards as the OP.

Dionte - Tulane states its GPA as unweighted, not inflated at all. For Miami unfortunately this is not true. I would love to see hard evidence from you about the SAT’s, but I am sure you have none.

University of Toronto – reach
NYU – reach
BU (sibling currently attends) – match
UMD - college park (legacy + my state) – since in-state, match
Emerson – match
Syracuse – high match
Drexel – in

I only did the ones I know of, bluesharpies.

Someone on the internet doesn’t believe me? Damn…

Not even sure what that means, but good answer I am sure.

It is indeed a good answer.

It is no answer at all. No one believes you because you have no basis for your statements.
