Personally, I think you have a solid chance at all of those schools.

You will probably get rejected from a couple and accepted at a couple.

One thing that would've helped your application is a leadership position in some club or something.

^^^^ Thanks, what schools do you think will accept me.....I really want to go to Johns Hopkins, Cornell, WashU, or Northwestern.......

I don't know. I could see them all going either way. Saying "accepted" to one is as good as saying "accepted" to another. Same with saying "rejected". So there's really no use, in my opinion.

I think you have an equally good chance at every one of them.

You are applying to UT, too, right? As a safety? Or TAMU or TTU?

I can't speak for everyone, but sometimes the closer we get to leaving, the closer we want to stay to home.

Check out my thread, btw!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/618673-does-my-mid-year-report-screw-me-over.html

UT is not a safety for him dude. He isnt even in the top ten of class

Considering he's in-state and his GPA is 3.8 (UW), I think he has a very good chance.

I mean, he's 89/450 with a pretty impressive academic record. It's obvious his school is extremely competitive.

Everything else is pretty damn solid, and, like I said, he's in-state. Combine that with his SAT score as a whole, his subscores which are over the 75 percentile in every category (for UT), his rigorous courseload, his solid EC's and his stellar volunteering...and you have yourself a Texas Longhorn.

^^^^ I am applying to UT, but even if I get in I will probably go to Texas A&M......What are my chances for these other schools though?........

bump................

all the other schools are reaches but emory, vanderbilt, and jh not as much

^^^^ Thanks.....

Bump............

does jhu have a good economics dept? anyway for chances...i'd say solid shot at all...

^^^^ Yah, lol, I double checked......I want to do pre-med, but don't want to major in a science...so its a good fit for me.....

I don't see how I have a solid shot at all, I am not even in the top 10 percent of my class.......College admissions are mostly about numbers, so not being in top 10 percent, regardless of how compietive your school, makes it difficult......I doubt WashU, Northwestern, Cornell, JHU are going to want me......

bump............

lots of views.........any other opionons, I really want to go to Cornell, Northwestern, JHU, or WashU.......

id say accepted to WashU and Vandy, rejected the rest

I thought washU would be the one to reject me, and vandy and emory were my acceptances.....thanks though.....

im telling you the rank is a killer

emory god no, bc ur rank, it possible but unlikely, idk i hope u got some others on ur list, all of em cud easily shoot u down, id say vandy is a match tho, but still a low reach
