Chance a failure?

I consider myself a failure because of my high school stats.
So I'm currently enrolled at a California Community College and I'm hoping to transfer to:

UCSD
UCLA
UCB
Brown
UPenn
Stanford
Dartmouth
Cornell
NYU

My stats are:

4.0 College GPA (first year)
3.33 High school GPA (ouch)
1730 SAT 1 (ouch) 720 SAT 2 Math 2
28 ACT
About 100+ hrs of volunteer
Interned for State Senator this past summer
Work 17 hours a week
In Business Student Association Club
Private Tutor
(Going to tutor for my school next semester).

Overall, I'm not sure what to do. Dartmouth is my dream school but I got rejected last year (senior year) and this year (freshman year). I know I messed up in high school, but I'm a different person now and I'm really hoped they would see that. What do you guys recommend I do to stand out?

Thank you so much for your input and if you chance me, I'll chance you back.

Well, I would say that you have a chance, but that would be lying.

Seriously, you don’t. Just give up. Get a degree in culinary arts instead.

^well thats a little harsh.
there’s always a chance, but with schools like that a chance doesn’t mean much.
if you really want to transfer i’d say try settling for something else, but i’m really not so good at chancing, so good luck! :)

UC’s have selected spots for transfer students, after two years though.
Just make sure to get a 4.0 in your sophomore year of college and you can transfer to a UC. Besides, it’d be best to save a dream school for grad school wouldn’t it?
You would get more focus because of the smaller number of students, as well as get the chance to become a T.A. Just keep your head up high and you have a chance!
