Chance a Florida student?

Hi everyone, a little description of me:

GPA Weighted- 3.16/4.5
GPA Unweighted- 3.13/4.0

SAT- Didn't take
ACT 1- 19
ACT 2- 25
ACT 3- Currently waiting for scores to be posted

EC's-
Member of S.W.A.T (Students Working Against Tobacco) (12)
Former employee of KUMON Math and Reading
Papa John's Employee

I'd like to know my chances for most of the Florida schools. The ones I have in mind are as follows (ranked from most desirable to least):
-UCF
-USF
-UNF
-FAU
-FGCU

It would also be nice to know any advice you have for me, as well as any other out of state schools that I have a chance at.
Thank you so much!

bumpppppppppppppp

-UCF - Reach
-USF - Reach (main campus), high match (St. Pete campus)
-UNF - High Match/Low Reach (avg wGPA is 3.84, avg ACT was 26)
-FAU - Match/High Match (middle 50% GPA is from 3.38 to 3.98, ACT from 22-26)
-FGCU - Low match/Safety ( in the middle 50% for wGPA, and in the top 25% for test)
-UWF - Low match

OOS can be expensive, if you can afford it, you should then also be looking at privates (which can be much more affordable, with aid, than some state OOS public schools).

Please review the following link, with your stats, you could receive scholarships/OOS tuition waivers at several schools (especially if you can raise your ACT score a few points).

Good Luck!

Your ECs are pretty weak. I would say FGCU is your best bet but you have a chance at USF.

Thanks you two… anyone else??

bumpppppppppppp

bump please

Your lack of class rigor is really going to hurt you. Does you school offer honors/AP classes that you opted not to take?

For the schools you’re applying to, ECs aren’t really considered, so you should instead focus on getting your ACT to be as high as possible. The six point improvement from Test 1 to Test 2 is pretty impressive.

Thanks ipodsinger,
My school does offer Aps and honors, but sadly I did not take much… I wasn’t put in any and didn’t have a incentive to switch.
