<p>Okay so I am done will all of my applications, and I am a bit concerned.....</p>

<p>Background : Male, HISPANIC =), Very Competitive High School in NJ</p>

<p>STATS:
GPA: 2.82, now before everyone starts saying that this is bad (which I know it is) I really made improvement through out high school ( Freshman - 2.2, Sophomore - 2.9, Junior - 3.71)</p>

<p>You’ll definetly have a good chance for purdue and maybe Syracuse. Idk about rutgers because I’m applying there also and can you chance mine for rutgers?</p>

<p>Assuming arts and sci at Syracuse, may be a problem…maybe change to Human Ec; you would have a better shot at admissions…then you could possibly switch over to A&S either before entry or after freshman year…everyone takes the same A&S requirements anyway during freshman year…</p>

<p>or at least call admissions and put Human Ec as second choice school…</p>

<p>Rodney : That is what I did, I picked Sports Management, a major in the school of Human Ec as my #2 school. Thanks for the advice</p>

<p>NK: sports management is a very competitive limited admission major…maybe keep the Human Ec but call and tell them a different major there (like hospitality or something)…just trying to help!!</p>

<p>i think that the upward trend will help. also, being a hispanic will help a little.
