Hi,
I'm currently a student at my local community college in MICHIGAN and I'm hoping to get into an ENGINEERING program for spring semester. Please chance me, I'm very anxious. Will chance back!!

STATS:
HS GPA: 3.0 took several APs, AP scholar. Competitive Michigan high school.
ACT: 31 (35 math,30 E, 30 R, 28 S)
SAT: 2120 first sitting ( 800 M, 680 CR, 640 W)
SAT II: 800 on Math2, 720 Chem
english is my second language, so thats why my Writing and CR and stuff isn't as high as math.
EC's are nothing spectacular, especially when compared to others on CC.
Fall semester C.College GPA will be near 4.0 but I'm not sure if the colleges will look at that.

I think you’re in everywhere with UMD being a slight reach. UMD is not like other state schools that only accept a certain number of OOS. In fact, they love getting OOS tuition. Chance me back??

Thank you both!! I chanced you back. I dont know if I made this clear but I’m applying to ENGINEERING school at Purdue, UMN, UMD, and ASU. Does this considerably lower my chances?? Thanks again for the chances

All educated guesses:

Arizona State University - rock-bottom safety

Hm, I actually think you’re in at UMD. We’re instate but my sister just transferred there with lower test scores and lower college grades. I think you’re pretty safe at the others too, but I don’t really know. Thanks for chancing me!

thanks to everyone who chanced! The replies are very surprising to me. I felt that I would be a long shot at a lot of these schools because I’m applying for engineering. I’m still not entirely sure what role my college grades will play in the admissions process.
Thanks again!!
