<p>Hey guys, I’m not too interested in the UCs myself but my friend is very much. Her dream school is Berkeley but she’d also be very happy at UCLA.</p>

<p>General stats:
GPA: 3.75 UW; 4.00 W
Rank: School doesn’t rank
SAT: 1650 (480 M, 570 CR, 600 W) (retaking in October)
SAT II: 600 World History, 690 Korean (retaking), Lit (taking November)
APs: Biology (1), World History (3), U.S. History (3), English Language & Composition (4)</p>

But even though i'm still a senior, i think i know the basic acceptance rates
and heres my list</p>

<p>She doesn't really have ECs which will have quite an impact since Berkeley and LA focus on the character of the person a little more than the others. Not to mention her SAT and SAT 2 scores</p>

<p>UCB - verrrry high reach
UCLA - same as berkeley
UCI - match (if you get the sat up)
UCSB - match (if you get the sat up)
UCSD - reach
UCSC - safety
UCR - safety
UCM - safety</p>

<p>Just tell her to get her sat up and she'll be alright (along with the sat 2, especially korean since the average is like 760)</p>

<p>Her chances also depend on the major she is going for
my ranking was for noncompetitive majors but if she chooses something like medicine which is pretty competitive, her chances will lower.</p>

<p>She needs her SATs to be 1900+, and her SAT IIs a bit higher to be a match at uci or ucsd. la and cal would still be reaches though...</p>

<p>To get into Berkeley/LA She HAS to pull up to at LEAST 2100 SATs Which would still be a reach because of lack of ExtraCurrics/Low GPA</p>

<p>Does she have musical talent/sports?</p>
