<p>I'm considering applying ED to cornell 2017 to the Hotel Administration school.
I have around a 3.85/4.0 unweighted and a 4.53 weighted.
I took the ACTS and got a 31 (eng:30, math:34, reading:28, science:33)
I also took the Math II SAT II and got a 780.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
VP Spanish Honors Society
President of Environmental Awareness Club
Secretary of Investment Club
Fencing Captain
Co-founder and President of a Student Leadership Conference for Family Promise (A homeless shelter in my neighborhood)
Math League
National Honors Society member
Varsity Soccer Player
Captain of Club Soccer Team</p>

<p>Recommendations will be good, probably not excellent.
Hopefully strong essays.
Third Generation Legacy (and a half- my sister goes there now) at Cornell
White upper class female</p>

<p>What are my chances of getting in??</p>

<p>Fairly decent chance. With hotel, they give more weight to related extracurriculars. Being a legacy doesn’t hurt either.</p>

<p>It is my understanding that the Hotel School likes people who have family connections to that industry.</p>

<p>I would try and do something hotel related, such as working part-time at a hotel.</p>
