Hey I may fit into that asian stereotype: music and medicine...but I really have passions for both. Hopefully the depth of EC's will keep me out of the herd.</p>

Worked as medical assistant at local hospital for 5 years; 500+ hours
Invited to work as medical optometric assistant in a hospital in Guatemala for one summer - hosted by Gift of Vision Foundation
Coached chamber music for pay (around 800 dollars earned total)
Performed orchestral solo in Carnegie Hall (New York Orchestra Festival)
Invited by an intensive chamber music program in colorado for last two years to perform (ViolaWorkout)
Performed with a professional orchestra for community events...toured four cities in CA --> in the local news</p>

<p>I don't see any dilemma in your SATs. The only problem I see is that your SATs are not exactly the strongest for Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. You have good chances, though.</p>
