but my uncapped gpa would be 4.3

Also, I’m not sure why ppl r thinking I’m being defensive

I’m pretty down about the chances, if u couldn’t tell
But I certainly thought I had a shot

I’ve been told Berkeley is easier to get into than Ucla and ucsd
less narrow emphasis on grades

for sum venomous responses up in ere
dam do

Also I received a supplement from ucsd so I’m guessing I have like 20to 33 % chances there

got* sum

What about schools like

Don’t freak out. You can totally get in with those scores. You are a bit of a wild card. You should definitely get into SB and “lower” UCs. As for Berk and LA, it depends on how difficult your high school was. If you got that gpa at some ridiculously good school - you have a totally legitimate reason and should get into top tier UCs. Even if you are from a “regular” high school you should get into at least one of the following: UCI, UCSD, UCD. Cal and LA are always big question marks, although they are known for their “holistic” approach to reviewing applications - which would benefit you.

You are a wild card who will AT LEAST get into SB i’d say.

my high school is very good
it’s on par with one ranked top 10 in the nation by the wsj
but that’s not to say everyone has low grades
most ppl have high grades b/c they’re hard working and smart (need to apply to get in)

Bumps
nikas

bumpsss
sorry

anyoneeeeee

pls help

I know ppl have seen this so pls

I think you have a pretty good shot at UCLA. I know someone with a 3.4 who got in. Though he majored in African studies or something like that so maybe that was a factor in getting in. If you apply in an impacted major your chances may not be as good…

Have a nice day

Honestly anytime you get a negative response you try and sell yourself more. I think honestly you know you didn’t work hard enough and you clearly didn’t get a 2400.

lol someone’s jealous
I really have no reason to lie
lol, clearly,
what’s the point of making such a comment
looks like i used the wrong tone in this thread
comment on my other once u have calmed down

not everything is so simple
I’m simply asking for my chances b/c obviously my case is rare and, yes, I am nervously awaiting decisions to be released.
I may have been defensive in this thread at times, but only b/c I think the top UCs are not completely out of reach, as some want me to believe.

Then some advice just calm done because if your essays and or explanations have the same sense of despair it will make things harder…a year at community college with a solid SAT would help as well.

my school gpa is a 3.7
highest possible is like a 4.15
so my grades aren’t atrociously low,
I just got lots of b+s a-s
but had the hardest schedule In the school

Good luck…

thanks???
