Brown is notoriously weird and random with its admissions, but you definitely seem competitive. If your courseload is challenging within the context of your school, and if you can manage to convey depth of interest/intellectual curiosity, I think you have a great shot. Good luck!

Thanks, yeah my schedule is the most rigorous. I’m pretty sure I am taking the most AP classes this year. I could have taken more AP classes but that would have meant not taking as many science classes which is what I want to go into. Also I then would not have been able to take AP Chem or Bio this year. Realistically the only thing more rigorous I could have done is taken advanced English but English is not my best subject and I didn’t want to kill myself. Also I want to go into science so I thought it was more important to take advanced classes in that subject area. Anyways, to make a long story even longer I took the most rigorous schedule.

Thanks again for the feedback!

I would say that you have a fantastic chance!!! Brown is tough, but it’s definitely sounding possible for you!
GOOD LUCK!!!

chance back???

final bumb just a few days until I find out but this helps calm my nerves. Thanks

Brown is known as very liberal school, so with affirmative action, keep your hopes up!

I’m quite impressed with your stats. I think you have a great chance at Brown and your essay topic about your upbringing is excellent however I’d have to agree with what the guy said about AP Calc. Try to find a more compelling topic. I had a friend who wrote about her goldfish named Morty and got into Brown. They’re cool like that at Brown.
Best of luck to you - you deserve it!

It’s hard to tell nowadays with Ivies…they’re reaches for everyone, but I say that you stand a VERY VERY good chance of getting in Best of luck!
