recs will be great

essays will be good

Please chance me for my reaches:
Dartmouth
Duke
Georgetown
Brown

keep up the great grades

keep up with all of the involvement

devote the summer or something to bringing up your SATs (2100+). this shouldnt be too hard considering an 1860 isn't that bad for first try if you didn't prepare much.

and none of those schools will be out of your range, especially because you're Hispanic. gl!

Well you can't exactly give yourself a poor hook, since you have done ALOT over the summer apparantly. #1 and 3. Your SAT is a bit low for all of these. Get it up 200-300 points, and you'll have a crapshot, I'm sorry to say. You're a good candidate, but not a competitive one. However, the URM might come into play, I don't know what scale it will affect you though.

All are high reaches, I think you have the best shot at Brown.

i went to the mock trial program @ UCLA on full scholarship and my mom's parents are from El Salvador. Her sister works at a clinic there and i'm planning on volunteering with her. I'm lower middle class at best.

If you get your SATs up to 2150+, you will be a very strong candidate for all those especially because you are a Hispanic Female.

First generation+URM+4.0+2100 SAT+decentish EC's+decent schedule=In at all of those.

you got a great chance

Im a hispanic student as well

but my SAT is low

but write a good essay and youll be ok

With a 2100 you will have a good shot at getting into some.

thanks everyone! i'll try to get my SAT scores up to 2100+. i better start preparing for the May one.
