Chance a hispanic for Cornell, Villanova and UNC chapel hill among others

First off I am Portuguese but according to the US census I am Hispanic if I choose to identify myself as one. I do not know if being Portuguese will help me as much as someone that is more commonly considered as Hispanic but I figured it should help.

I got to a competitive high school in New York that does not rank.
GPA 3.5 UW / 3.75W
1880 SAT / 1280 2-part
620 on the biology and Math I sat II and 610 on US history

As far as Honors and AP classes I have taken:

Earth science honors, biology honors, AP world history, 1 year of English honors, AP American history, 3 years of honors orchestra, AP psychology, 1 year of Spanish honors, AP American government/economics and SUPA (Syracuse University Project Advance) Sociology. Everything else was regents level.

I'm not going to type out all of my EC's. They are pretty good but nothing extraordinary.

So what do you guys think my chances are at...

Cornell University
Villanova University
UNC - Chapel Hill (OOS)
USC
University of Miami
University of Richmond
College of the Holy cross
Northeastern University
University of San Diego (not UC)
NYU (legacy)
UConn
Lafayette College
Binghamton University
Syracuse University
Boston University
Brandeis University

I know those are alot of schools I do plan to narrow down the list but even if you can only chance a few of the schools I would really appreciate it thanks.

Well, first we can’t chance you if you don’t show us your ecs. What you think is good, might be bad in our eyes. Your sats are low. How many kids a year does your school send to top colleges? What you might think to be competitive might be avg. for us. Thats important, because your gpa is low.

My school does send a lot of kids to top schools this year we have 3 kids going to Harvard. I think we have around 15 kids who going to ivies probably a few more then that though.

Alright here are my EC’s

1 year of JV baseball
4 years of travel baseball
completed NYSSMA lvl 6 twice (NYSSMA is a string festival where you play a prepared piece for a judge and get graded)
My honors orchestra meets after school as well as in school so it counts as a club
Recommended for an All Long Island Orchestra
Volunteering once a week for the past year at my local hospital (will continue through senior year)
Taken part in various school charity sports tournaments
Worked over the summer in a Doctor’s office
This summer I will work in a restaurant

NYSSMA is not a string festival…I live in NY. there’s NYSSMA for every instrument you can think of. including groups, jazz, etc.
anyway, UNC Chapel Hill I wouldn’t bother. They need to have a certain % of their incoming class come from NC every year, making it much harder for out of state people to get in there.
also what do you want to major in? I can chance better with that info

UNC chapel hill accepts about 80% of their applicants instate. It would be extremely difficult to get int OOS.

Nowhere does the US Census definition of Hispanic/Latino include persons of Portuguese descent:

[Persons of Hispanic or Latino origin, percent, 2010 (b)](http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/meta/long_RHI705210.htm)

Interesting that you asked, but didn’t listed to the answer:
