Please excuse my "long" post, but thanks in advance for your help!!!

bump… can anyone please chime in?

350 views and no responses???

If you raise your SAT scores to 2150+, you’re pretty much in at all of your choices. Legit. So this summer, study HARD and get that score man.

Chance back?

Wow, thanks.

Your curriculum lacks rigor so Cornell is a no, probably.

None of the shools on your list old be considered to except Cornell. Why all of the out of state publics? Being AA is not a hook at most publics. Can you afford to be full pay at those? Are you looking for aid in general?

Being home schooled and second generation are also not hooks. You will need to take many AP/SATll tests as a Home schooler to make colleges comfortable with your GPA.

I have a bunch of OOS schools because I want to study meteorology. The only school in Georgia that offers that is Georgia Tech, which is hard to get into, and I really don’t want to go there. My parents have lots of money saved up, so I shouldn’t need much aid. If I get even a part time job in college, my parents and I can cover full-pay.

I plan on taking 3-4 SAT II’s this summer (Math 1&2, Chemistry, and maybe Bio). I am planning on doing DE to help out as well.

You need outside verification. I’m glad you are taking the SAT II’s this summer. A lot may depend on those. For those reading this thread, you need to make sure that you do some dual credit, SAT II or AP exams 9th-11th. That is what colleges will see. Don’t wait to sign up for some of those your senior year.

I’m a homeschool mom. The big problem you have is how to verify your grades. Your 32 is pretty good. Here is a link to scholarships at OU. I don’t have time to look through it to see what you will be eligible for.

I hope that helps.

Thank you, momknowsbest.
