(This is my second thread. Somewhat similar to the first...though that was more financial oriented. Still, I hope this isn't considered spamming...Just looking for some opinions.)

Hello. I'm a rising junior from Texas, and I've been home-schooled my entire life.
Scores:
SAT: Will get the scores back in 11 days.
PSAT: Just took it, like most Juniors on here. Obviously, I don't know the results yet, but, judging by practice tests, National Merit Commended status is a pretty safe bet. Maybe Semifinalist.
Predicting: 2080-2140.
Class Rank: 1/1 :P

EC's
Chorus 9, 10,
Video 201, 9, 10, 11, 12 (probably.) I have, so far, directed a feature length film, and helped in the production of a few random shorts. Mostly script-writing.
Random volunteering at church.
Hoping to do some work at a Children's Hospital this winter.
Self-taught guitarist.
I really enjoy writing. Short stories, poetry, novels...whatever. I love it.
...? Probably some more things I can't think of.

Workload/GPA
I understand my GPA won't be as heavily weighed, since I am home-schooled, but I think I'm going to end up with about a 3.8/3.9ish GPA.
I didn't take any AP's because I didn't know they existed. lol.
I did, however, take an English composition class last year at the local community college, and I got a 4.0 in that + a small award. This year I'm taking three classes, and expect to get a 4.00 in all of them (except maybe Public Speaking....)

Financial Situation: Well, apparently my parents decided, early on, that all of their children would basically just have to work for a couple years after high-school to save up for college. Both of my siblings commuted to the local state uni and had to take out loans to meet their EFC. So, my parents have, on the whole, changed their minds, but they can still only shell out about 5k per year for school. Total. and we make about 65k. (I think. Might be closer to 50k.) Only my Dad works, and he is employed as a pastor.

Hoping for UT-Austin, University of Virginia, Rice...Was hoping for Kenyon, but I think that's a definite pipe-dream. (As are the rest, probably, but...yeah...) I don't really know about safeties. Most of my friends are going to community college or places like the University of North Texas...So, I kind of feel like a jerk for just thinking about schools like Rice, but, yeah. I ramble.

Safety recommendations would be appreciated.
