Chance a hopeful for Wharton and other top business schools :) I'll Chance Back

Hey CC,
I'm an Indian Junior from NJ weighing my options for college, but I really really really want to go to Wharton. What do you think my chances are?

GPA: 3.76 UW, 4.33 W (I had a really bad freshman year, all B+'s but after that I have straight A's, does improvement count for anything?)
SAT: 2400

Extra Curriculars:
Significant:
Founded and run my own tutoring service (its actually a business not only me tutoring)

Internship at Merril Lynch

Founder and President of my school's Investment Strategies and Economics Club (its gotten to become a pretty big organization in the first year, 30+ members, how do I show colleges this?)

Less Significant:
Volunteereed as a camp counselor at religious camp at local Hindu Temple (HTCS)

Volunteereed as a camp counselor at local yoga camp (Gurukul Yoga Center)

Volunteered at the Somerset Medical Center as a receptionist

Volunteered at Bridgewater-Raritan Library

Teach Curriculum and Competition Math (AMC, AIME, MOEMS) at Insighful Learning Center

Member of Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and French Honor Society

Regional Gold Medal Winner in NorthSouth Foundation Spelling Bee, Math Bee, Vocabulary Bee, and Essay Writing Competition

Proficient in Mrudangam (Indian Drums); played in many concerts in Hindu Temples for religious festivals and in the Cleveland Aradhna (International Indian Music Festival)

Aside from Wharton, i'm looking at Stanford (I know its a crapshot haha), Columbia, UChicago, UMich-Ross, NYU-Sterns, UVA, UCB-Haas

any other prestigious business programs for a hopeful ibanker?

Let me know what you guys think?
Thanks

I think you would have a very good shot at Wharton. Make sure to apply ED if it is your first choice, but I think you already know that :)

Your unweighted GPA is the only thing that concerns me. If you can give that a boost and apply to Wharton ED I think you are in; you have a lot going for you. Please chance me back!

Pretty solid chances at Wharton/Stanford/Columbia. Wharton definitely seems to like students who already know they want to do finance. If you’re set on ibanking, there’s no school that is as heavily recruited.

Stanford does well in the SF/Menlo area and is great if you just want to do tech, but my buddies there tell me it’s hard to get into the NYC offices without some serious networking
