Chance a Hopeful Hispanic for the Ivies

I was referred to the website by a close acquaintance who does nothing but spout lavish praise about its abundance of well-informed and bright students. This will be my first post, and although I'm relatively familiar with the college application process, I'm interested to see what other students might think of my chances. I am a rising senior, and thus far I intend to apply to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, and Duke University. I am undecided on my major, unfortunately :( I hope my formatting is correct!

Other miscellaneous information:

-I spent much of last summer creating an free SAT preparation guide for my classmates to use. I managed to have several copies published and many students at my school have used it. I have had several students tell me throughout the year that this guide helped them boost their SAT scores up to 300, 400, and in one instance up to 700 points, and my teachers and counsellors recommend it to students before the official guides.

-For my Eagle Scout project, I spearheaded a campaign to rennovate a local library. The project took a total of 30 hours over a two week period, and in the end increased the library's usage exponentially.

-I'm not sure if this is relevant at all, but I like to think I'm decent with computers. I do a lot of coding in my spare time, and have made many useful Excel programs and coded many useful websites. I even assisted in coding my school's official website when they wanted to upgrade it.

So that's the general overview of my profile. If there are any details I failed to specify, point them out and I'll be sure to add them. Any comments/advice would be tremendously appreciated :) I know the Ivies are a reach for any student, but I really want to be the first in my family to get accepted into one. Thank you for your time.

Every single thing is perfect, you’re in no doubt.

You have awesome chances everywhere.

Either ■■■■■ or a automatic in. Honestly. You’d really have to mess up your essays and interviews to get rejected. One of the best applicant’s i’ve seen on cc(the others are in the MIT threads)

^ Wait, are you the OP? I’m confused.

Edit: The post to which I was referring has now been deleted. I’m still confused, though.

^ I agree dannav147. OP, if all of your stats are legit (I’m sure they are, but there are occasional random ■■■■■■ who post perfect stats on here, hence the slight doubt) then you have amazing chances everywhere. Good job :)

@silverturtle – The OP is aimforthestars, not dannav147 (if that’s what you’re asking).

^ Someone else posted in the first person claiming that he was definitely not a ■■■■■, so I’m not sure what the deal is.
