I am sorry and I don’t really mean to be negative but “chance” postings really are not worthwhile. No one can properly tell you your chances other than the admissions office especially this year when Tech has gone to the Common Application. In fact I really wish College Confidential got rid of the “what are my chances” threads. They do nothing but to give students either anxiety or false hope. Instead as I do with my own children; ask yourself “did you do everything within your power to be a strong applicant?” (meaning did you try hard and enjoy what you did since no one can turn back time). Enjoy your senior year (or the equivalent in India). I am sure you have applied to many great colleges and I am sure one of them will accept you.

I hate the unnecessary stress the college application process causes some students. It doesn’t have to be if you keep things in perspective. My own DD has applied and with all her apps done she is simply enjoying her time senior year spending time learning some new programming; playing sports; seeing friends; going to Maker Place for robotics. Do yourself the same favor-stop bumping this thread and go out and forget about your applications.

p.s. my comma button is broken so sorry for the grammar mistakes.

easy for you to say, you don’t live in India. Try living here for 17 years then when you get a chance of going some place better,(which by the way depends entirely on your application), lets see whether you get anxious or not.
GA Tech is my dream university and every opinion matters for me.

You have a decent chance shaurya, but you should consider it as a high match with a 2100 sat as the stats are going to go up this year because tech has switched to the common app

I think what itvs was trying to say is that so much of this is out of your hands so don’t worry to much about it. If I were to give you a chance I’d say you have a shot, then again I’ve never read a full application except my own. Don’t worry. Hit the submit button, make sure all of your items are received then don’t worry about it until decisions come out. Also you have good stats, if for any reason (and not implying there is one) you don’t get in there maybe try for somewhere else.

From one stressed applicant to another: at the end of the day everything will work out :)
