Chance a Hopeful Transfer?

I'm a freshman at the University of Illinois. I'd like to be a sophomore, junior, and senior somewhere else, namely: Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Boston College, or Boston University. I didn't get in to Northwestern as a freshman, and UofI was basically my only safety school.

Here are some pertinent stats:

College: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
College GPA: 4.0/4.0
Major: Currently Undeclared, would be economics upon transfer
High School GPA: 5.03/4 (weighted), upward trend, etc
ACT: 33
APs: US History (4), English Literature (4), Psychology (4), Calculus AB (5)
ECs: [ul][li]Illini Mentoring Program - Mentor and Fundraising Committee Member. Year-long weekly mentoring at an elementary school.
I'm hoping I'm able to get out of UIUC after this year. Does it look doable for me?

Thanks.

Boston University- In
Boston College- They accept so few transfers, but your stats look impressive, I would not rule it out
Northwestern- Same as boston college
Vanderbilt- In, their transfer rate is pretty high

I appreciate the quick feedback. To be honest, BC is my first choice, followed by NU, BU, and Vanderbilt. BCs acceptance rate is pretty low, but their average college GPA and ACT scores are too, so here’s to being one of the 16%.

You seem to like the boston area, I would try for Northeastern also, you have a decent shot of getting in there. Good luck in wherever you go, 4.0 gpa for college is impressive, as is your act.

My problem with Northeastern is that I feel like it would be a step down, academics wise, and I would have a hard time justifying that to myself or my parents. BU, while just about as good as UIUC, has a very good econ program.

Help a brother out two weeks later?
