<p>I, along with most of the people on this board, don’t do chances, since we don’t have anything resembling the information that the admissions officers will have. Especially because you’re international, we don’t have a sense of your school and your context within it.</p>

<p>Two things you may or may not know:

  1. One doesn’t apply at Brown for a specific major. Many students switch once they arrive, and you won’t be listed as whatever major you have on the app until you actually declare it as a sophomore.
  2. As an international applicant, whether or not you’re applying for financial aid does matter, since Brown is need-aware for international students.</p>

<p>Well I am not applying for financial aid… well i guess you cannot be sure but i just want a rough approximate as to whether i can get in or not?</p>
