<p>Extracurriculars
-I write frequently for a student-ran newspaper (LA youth) which is distributed across Los Angeles County
-I'm a leadership counselor for a nonprofit organization (California Association of Student Councils) and I counsel for summer camps at Stanford and Santa Barbara and various other events
-I've written and presented proposals concerning education reform to the Senate Education Committee and Senate Legislature of California in Sacramento
-I had an internship with a state senator this summer
-I created a nonprofit organization called For All Mankind that holds annual events (concerts/fashion shows) which raises money to send to poverty-stricken and war-stricken countries. Recently, my benefit concert made a profit of 10,000 dollars sent to providing free medical aid to poverty in the Phillipines.
-I am also the Chair of Board for another nonprofit organization called You-Manitarians which hosts benefit concerts as well for Darfur. Made about 5,000 last year. </p>

<p>I'm half Taiwanese and half caucasian (polish/austrian). I live in Walnut, CA where just about everyone competitive is Asian. (School is 70 percent asian).</p>
