<p>I am a junior in high school and would like to see what you guys think about my chances. I am going to most likely go Pre-Med. These are my top schools in order for now.</p>

Class Rank: Top 5% (school doesn’t rank) class of around 500
NJ School who send some to Top schools</p>
<p>SAT: CR 740 Math 800 Writing 740 (1540/2280) (Thats superscored, on one sitting i got 1530/2270)</p>
<p>SATII: will take Math II Bio and Chem
AP classes: U.S. History, Chem, Bio, Physics, Calc BC, Econ, Stat</p>
<p>EC’s:
Varsity XC/Winter Track/ Spring Track (Was amazing at running, got injured, still make varsity)
Varsity Swimmer
Math League Captain- Conference Champs 09! haha
EMT volunteer 12 hrs a week (Monday 6 P.M.-Tues 6 A.M.) This is my big EC
volunteer 2 hrs weekly at local hospital</p>

<p>you don’t have everything (weak on ECs in particular compared to other applicants though those two medical jobs are def. good/show passion), but i agree with above posters that you’ve got enough…also would apply to some reaches (harvard, yale, princeton, stanford, etc.)</p>
<p>The only thing that’s <em>slightly</em> holding you back are your relatively weak EC’s… though I’m sure being an EMT is time-consuming and shows your dedication to medicine, there are undoubtedly other applicants even more involved in that field and others during their high school careers.</p>
<p>But… you are a URM. You are first-gen. You have a 3.95 UW GPA. You have above average test scores.</p>
<p>Definitely in at half of those 6 schools, most likely more.
Apply to HYPS. Seriously. You’ve got a chance.</p>
