<p>Chance a junior for SEAS
Stats:</p>

<pre><code>* SAT:2140(M:690 CR:720 W:730) I will be retaking this to get a higher math score for my super score. I am aiming for about 750 so that I have a superscore of 2200.
* SAT IIs: Math II:740 Physics:720
* GPA:UW:3.89 W:4.67 I have no B's in an academic class since Freshman year
* Rank:8/113 Rank is based on unweighted GPA which includes exchange students and ballet students who take only 4 classes a semester. If rank was based on weighted GPA i'd be 4 or 5.
* AP/IB: AP U.S History(5), IB Mathematics SL(6/7) and I am also going for the full IB diploma. I am taking HL classes in Film, World Literature, and History and SL Physics(highest my school offers)
* Other stats: I completed IB Math SL this year (junior) and will be getting a 6/7 on the calculus exam. As a senior I'll be taking Calc II and Calc III at Pitt as a senior.

Alumni, National Honors Society.
* Teacher Recs:Will be great. My calculus teacher who is a former Columbia Engineering student will right a great one.
* Counselor Rec:Probably standard but I'll also have a great one from my principal

<p>I think that if you do manage to get your SAT score in the 2200+ range, you have a pretty decent chance. Also, I think getting 7/7 on SL Math is not that unlikely, seeing as half of the junior class at my school historically receive level 7’s. </p>

<p>Continue what you’re doing and study hard! I’d say you’re a low reach at the moment. </p>

<p>your stats are impressive although with columbia, and all other ivies, its generally impossible to tell… I would say that you have a pretty good shot though!
the only thing that I would work on is the Math subscore of your SAT… try and get it up to at least 700</p>
