Hi,

I am a junior right now I want to know what my chances are for MIT. I am an international student.
My GPA freshman year is 3.87. I took English 1(there is only regular classes for english) I got c on this class and all my other classes(Pre-cal honors, Physics honors, Chinese 1 honors, Theology, World views, and Latin 1(this was required.)) I got A or A+'s. By the ways I was attending a boarding school that is ranked about 40th in US. Then I transferred to another boarding school that is ranked about 20th. Then my GPA dropped real bad. My cumulative GPA was 3.0... This is not because I am lacking in ability but I was mentally ill and I slept a lot during this year ignoring my homeworks and stuffs... These are the courses that I took for sophomore year: Calculus BC/Multivariable Calculus(This is a one year course.), Chem honors, orchestra, English 2 regular, World History, and then Chinese 2 honors. I got B+ for Calculus BC/Multivariable Calculus, Chem honors, English 2 regular, World History. But the sad thing is that I got C+ in my Chinese 2 honors which was the highest grade in the class(the teacher was being mean to students. She got fired). Yes, This really is bad. During summer vacation I went back to my home country and I took mental therapy for three months and I got better.
In my junior year, I am taking Advanced math seminar(which I am going to get either A- or A), AP Physics E&M (A+), AP Computer Science(A+), Chinese 3 honors(A), AP Economics(A-), and then English 3 regular (A-).
I also qualified for USAMO scoring a perfect score in AMC 12 A, 136.5 in AMC 12 B, and getting 12 right in AIME. I am expecting to get about 3 or 4 questions right in USAMO(I hope to qualify for MOSP.). I also participated in Princeton math competition but I did not win.(I was really close to getting myself within 10th place.)I have written a research paper on mathematics and computer science(General topic of this research paper is Number Theory with computer science). But I am not planning to submit this to any of the competitions. I don't know any competition that would accept an international student. Also I have two patents that I got approved of. Both of these are on robots. I am also publishing a math book about math olympiads(I am writing Number Theory section and it will done by the beginning of Summer vacation. There is a friend and a teacher whom I have worked with. Right now we are working with book publishing companies and it will be out in the market within a year!!!) In my school I am the captain of Robotics club, math olympiads club, and programming club(it is so hard to run all these three clubs every week haha). I have also written about three android apps.
My SAT score is 2200(Reading - 700, Math - 800, Writing - 700) currently. I am planning to take it again on june. Right now I have taken only two SAT subject tests - MATH II C -800, and Physics - 800. And I have taken only two AP's - Cal BC -5, and
Stats- 5. This year I am taking AP computer science, AP micro economics, AP macro economics, AP Physics Mechanics, AP physics E&M.
But I am worried about one thing. There are going to be about three students who are going to apply to MIT and other schools including me. Let's just call them A and B. A is a guy who has GPA 4.27. For math courses he took Cal AB in sophomore year - A+, Cal BC/Multivariable Cal - A+ and Advanced Math seminar - A+(I know that I am much smarter and better than this guy but the teacher loves him more because A is his advisee student and he spends time with him a lot...) other than that his EC's are not great. I would say he did almost nothing other than getting good GPA(he is ranked about second or third). Student B is guy who is free-minded. he does not care about GPA that much but he took same math courses as I did and he got slightly higher math grades than me. And I think they are both applying to MIT.
Do I have higher chances for MIT than these two guys? I am certain that I can get A+ in my senior year's math course which is some college stuff. And Do I have good chances for other schools such as UPenn(Jerome fisher or just wharton or just engineering school), Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Caltech, etc??????
