do you guys think I will be able to get in EA to tech next year?

With a 4.0 UW GPA, a reasonable SAT score over 2000, dual enrollment in Calc 2 and 3, and multiple varsity sports, you should be fine for Tech.

Why would you ever want to go to Berkeley OOS if you could go to Tech for free? If you want to get out of the area and go to California, try Stanford. You have a similar chance at admission, Stanford gives better financial aid, and Stanford has a better overall reputation (not that Berkeley has a bad reputation, just that Stanford has a better one)

Thanks for giving me some feedback! Yea Ill probably take full advantage of the Hope Scholarship and go to tech. I just put Berkeley since its engineering is a little better than GT. Isn’t Stanford a lot more rigorous and hard to get into than Berkeley though?

Berkeley isn’t really a better engineering school - it’s basically the same. The big difference between GT and Berkeley is that Berkeley is higher ranked in many non-engineering programs (and has a law school), giving them a better reputation overall.

As far as Berkeley admissions, as an OOS applicant, you’d have about the same chance at Berkeley as you would at Stanford. And if you can get your SAT over 2100, you have a shot at Stanford.
