<p>I am a junior (half-way through the year-school goes year round) looking to go into pre-med and eventually med school (applying as a chemistry major).</p>

Librarian: 3 years (summer job-225 hours total)
Animal Shelter Volunteer (300 hours)
120 volunteer hours teaching handicap kids (ran several sessions)

<p>I think you have a strong chance at all your schools listed. NYU CAS may be a bit more challenging, but if you don’t need FA you’d be a clear admit. Good luck.</p>

<p>I would say you have a good chance at all the schools besides NYU and Lehigh which seem like lowish reaches. Your Weighed GPA worries me, did you take advantage of the AP or IB classes offered at your school? If so, I can’t see why your weighed and unweighted GPA are so close together.</p>

<p>I think the reason you may not be getting a lot of replies is due to the fact the general CC community is not 100% familiar with the admissions style of the schools you listed. All that could be assumed is the at least a 3.8/3.9 uw gpa is good or 4.1 w, as well as 2150+ Sat scores. try getting your academic stats up and do good on essays/recs is all i can say.</p>
