chance a junior transfer?

I'll keep it short and sweet.

HS GPA: 3.2
SATs: 2070
APs: European History 3, US History 4, Environmental Science 5, Spanish Lang. 5
Currently attending: Indiana University at Bloomington
College GPA: 4.0, 7 A+'s and 6 A's
Major: Linguistics
ECs: not much. involved with music. cello, drums, guitar, played in youth orchestra. habitat for humanity.

Reasons for transferring: got my **** together. actually started to do homework and study for tests. looking for a school with a good linguistics program and academically-minded students. hate the midwest, but that's not going to be part of the essay.

Tentative list of transfer schools:
1. penn (applied for sophomore transfer, rejected. should i reapply?)
2. cornell
3. uchicago
4. uc berkeley (currently here for a summer linguistics program, love the campus)
5. brown
6. georgetown

thanks guys.

bump 10 char

bump bump bump

I transferred from IUB as a sophomore, also a linguistics major. I dunno about the other schools but I got denied from Brown with the following stats:

3.9 HS GPA
3.85 IU GPA
2220 SAT (780 CR, 790 Writing, 650 Math)
APs: 5 Lit & Comp … I think that was all, I went to a tiny HS with not many APS
and totally ****ty ECs

I ended up going to NYU for my soph year … and am now looking to transfer again, ha, because NYU charges an arm, a leg, and your firstborn for tuition.
