<p>Thanks for taking the time to read this thread. Just curious on what others think of my chances at going to the following schools in no particular order:</p>

<p>University of Illinois Champaign Urbana
University of Illinois Chicago
University of Chicago
Northwestern
Northern Illinois University
Illinois State University
DePaul University
Loyola University Chicago
Fransiscan University of Steubenville</p>

<p>Any other schools that you think would fit, that is appreciated, schools in the midwest prefered and that have a good science department/premed.</p>

<p>ACT: Projected score of a 28, hopefully 30
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.8 (no weighted grades)</p>

<p>Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 9/169</p>

<p>AP (place score in parenthesis): US History, Biology, Chem, English (only 5 APs offered, other is Art)</p>

<p>Junior year: AP us, AP Bio, Physics, Pre-Calc, Collge Prep American Lit, Plant Science, Spanish 3, Speech</p>

<p>Senior year: AP Chem, AP English, Anatomy, Calculus (dual credit), Stats (dual credit), Government, Spanish 4, etc</p>

<p>Extracurriculars </p>

<p>Varsity Soccer - (9, 10, 11, 12) (Captain in 12-likely)
Students for Students - (10,11,12) Community based club
Fall Play - (9, 11, 12?)
Helped with Spring Musical - (11?)

<p>Job/Work Experience: Work on family farm (not sure if this counts as work experience)</p>

<p>Volunteer/Community service: ~200 hours working with various activites with school/youth group/church etc. (hope to volunteer at a hospital as well)</p>

<p>Summer Activities: Outdoor Club goes to Canada for a week in complete wilderness (Great experience - will be doing for hopefully all 4 years), Youth Conferences for Church, volunteering</p>

Intended Major: Biology or Chemistry/ Pre-Med
State (if domestic applicant): IL
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Female</p>

<p>i’m only familiar with a few of the schools, but for the ones i know, i’d say:
University of Chicago: low reach, just try to bring up your ACT a bit
Northwestern: low reach, same as UChicago
DePaul University: low match</p>
