<p>Hey everyone, I'm a junior right now and I just want to know where I stand. I honestly do not have a list of colleges right now though, so could you all just chance me for Ivies/UC's/Top-Tier Schools/Prestigious LAC's? Also, I'd appreciate some college suggestions as well.</p>

<p>Anyway, this is my first time doing this so here goes:</p>

<p>Intended Major: Physics/Possibly Pre-Med</p>

<p>Classes (BTW, School doesn't let you take honors/AP till 10th):</p>

School doesn't calculate weighted GPA, and I'm too lazy to do it myself :P</p>

SAT I: 2340 (800 CR, 780 M, 760 W)
SAT II: World History (750), Math IIC (800), going to take Chem in June probably</p>

JV Baseball Gr 9-10</p>

<p>Attended COSMOS
Going to intern this summer with a guy at NASA doing original research, probably going to enter Siemens/Intel Science Competitions </p>

<p>With your good grades, good test scores, and possibility of doing research and doing intel/siemens, you have a shot at ivies with good essays and a clear focus :)</p>

<p>With good essays, good test scores, and if you continue to do well, you’re definatly a competitor, although it depends on what you’re considering. Good luck :)</p>

<p>Sure. I’m considering Physics as my major, if that’s what you’re asking. My dad wants me to become a doctor after that, but my mom wants me to be an engineer or a computer scientist… I want to continue with a Ph.D. in physics though xD So one of those options is in my future (hopefully).</p>

<p>Your SATs are stellar, 'nuff said. </p>

<p>ECs are good and GPA is solid. </p>

<p>Ivies - Low Match. There is a chance. </p>

<p>UCs - At present, they are all VERY possible, if not certain.</p>

<p>Great all around stats! I think you will be a very competitive applicant at any of those schools. Ivies are a killer though, its pretty much a lottery pick for anyone in the 25-75% for scores. As long as you don’t come off as an overachieving snob in your essays or interviews, you’ll be good. </p>
