I know College of Business is very competitive. Do you think I have a chance to get in? If not, where can I improve my chances?

Thanks...

Your stats look good. You might want to try to raise your ACT if possible, and of course keep up the gpa.

If you don’t get into the business school, you will still probably get into DGS.

You have a very good chance at business. Start your essay early and write a killer one, do that and you should definitely get in. Retake ACT once or twice just for fun, you’re only a junior, a little higher score could lock you in.

Thanks. I saw that the ACT range for Business was 28-32 and top 10% of your class. I should be top 10%.(my school does not rank so it is tough to tell) I guess a 31 would putting me in a safer range for the ACT. I think it might be tough to get in from out of state too.
I will probably take the ACTs again and hope for the best.

make sure to write good essays! CoB weighs these heavily for admissions.

Of course you’re in if you keep up your current numbers. UIUC is a good school, but not particularly hard to get into if you’re in the top 10-15% of the class.
