<p>GPA: 3.05 (Awful freshman and slightly better sophomore year. Bad grades then due to some big family medical issues and personal medical issues. I have a big upward trend to a recent 3.5 last semester even with having surgery in a week.) (I have time to raise it as im a Junior)
ACT: 30 (Math:33 English: 30 Science: 30 Reading: 28) (Recently retook waiting for scores)
SAT: 1780 (610 CR 630 Math 540 Writing) (based off pSat although Taking the SAT next month)
APs: US Government(3), Comparative Politics, Psychology
Rigor: I have taken mostly honors and ap classes but i have taken regular classes.</p>

<p>ECs:
- Job as a quasi-cashier I had a cashier job at my local plant nursery but i had other responsibilities mainly with customer service.
- Camp Counselor: 1 year
- Football: 3 years
- Guitar: 7 years on and off
- Volunteer hours: around 100
- (Possible) Internship with a fuel cell company (still awaiting that)</p>

<p>Desired Major:
-Engineering: Mechanical or Electrical
or - Business: Sales</p>

<p>Yeah GPA is a bit low. I think you need atleast a 3.5 but you got time. Its good that you got job experience and ECs are a bit average. Try to get some leadership if you can, maybe senior year. You got time since you are junior and also, try retaking ACT since I think you are much better in that. Good luck on that internship. Chance back?</p>
