Chance a Junior

Hi, I’m compiling my college list and would like some input on a few schools:

GPA: 4.2 W 3.7 UW Upward Trend
ACT: 32 first try, will retake for a 34+
Course Rigor: AP Computer Science as a Sophomore (5), and I am taking BC Calc and AP Language and Composition this year, the rest honors
Predicted Senior Schedule: AP Lit, AP Physics C, Multivariable Calc through John Hopkins CTY, AP Stats or AP Bio, AP Psych and/or fluff classes to fill in the rest of my schedule
Class Rank: Top 5% Highest Decile, out of 500
ECs: -Varsity Volleyball (9-12), Captain (11-12)
-Club Volleyball at the National Level (9-12), Captain (9-11, captains are elected during the season, so unsure about 12th)
-Key Club (9-12)
-Volunteering at a Special Needs Summer Camp (9-12), about 200 hours total
-CIT at an overnight summer camp (11-12)
-National Honor Society (11-12)
-There are probably more I forgot

I am looking at Duke, Umich, Umass Amherst (in-state), UNC, UVA, USC, UCLA, Northwestern, Mcgill, and Penn State

Your ECs are good, and your ACT score is commendable, but GPA (even though an upward trend) is a tad bit low, if you can bring it above a 3.75, that’d be great. Don’t you’ve to give any SAT IIs?

Duke: Low Reach
UMich: Reach
UNC: Match/High Match
Penn State: Safety
