I agree as far as excluding small accomplishments. I read through and noticed a qualified application, but it would have been easier had things that won’t really boost you much anyways not been there.
As far as schools, (and take my opinion w/ a grain of salt as I’m just another kid trying to get a grasp of which schools are attainable)
Stanford, Columbia, Yale, MIT, Harvard: Difficult. Certainly possible because you’re a qualified student and being Hispanic will help, but this is just the nature of these programs.
Penn, Michigan, Cornell, WashU, Carnegie Mellon: I’d say you’ll do well with these schools.
UF: I’d be surprised if you were rejected.
CalTech: I don’t know enough about this school myself. I’m more of a humanities focus so this one hasn’t popped up in my searches. Just group it with whatever schools it’s the equivalent to.
