Please give me your completely honest opinion. I need to know how I can improve over the next year-ish before applications are due. Thanks and sorry for the long thread!
Hey there,
For some pretext, I’m a senior sending out apps this weekend (wish me luck). From what I can see, your grades and extracurriculars look great. If I was you, I would focus a lot of effort into improving that SAT score. See if you can shoot that up to 2100-2200, and then you’ll actually have a good shot for Duke and Vanderbilt. Get a tutor if you can, and if not take matters into your own hands and study those SATs hard. Best of luck.
@thankmrskeltal Thanks for the input!
I neglected to mention I have leadership roles in Scouts: I was Senior Patrol Leader in 2014-15 (highest youth leadership position aka the president) and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader this year (aka vice president)
Put Notre Dame in Super Reach. The middle 50% of Math and CR is 1400 - 1530 and 75% of students were in the top 5% of their class.
@ScaredNJDad Thanks for your input! I am hoping to increase my CR and Writing score. If I can get those scores up past 700 do I have a chance there?
bump any other opinions
