Thanks for your time!

all are significant reaches. I'd say in at uchic and northwest probably. The other schools all come down to chance. It all depends on your essays now and making yourself stand out. Write good ones and you'll be lucky to get into 2-3 of the other reaches

I think I am misunderstanding your ECs. The first few you listed as only participating in for just 2 years. Does that mean you joined all these things junior year and will continue them senior? Or did you join sophomore year and continue for junior year (and plan on continuing during senior year)? Or was it that you "upgraded" from a certain band to another?

If either of the latter two is correct, I'd say everything looks solid. You needn't take another SAT II as most schools who require them only want 2 and you have 2 800's already. Outstanding ACT, outstanding SAT IIs, outstanding rank, gpa and everything else.

Your only two downfalls are the things you can't control: your gender and ethnicity.

You have just as good a shot as anyone to get into the colleges you listed. I'd say you are more likely to get accepted at U of Chicago (which you listed twice, btw. Maybe you really want to go there?) and Northwestern and Duke.

No, what happened was I took band freshman and junior year and not sophmore year. The band director changed and screwed me over junior year so I don't think I'll take band senior year. He gave me a D- 2nd quarter for something real stupid. Right now talking to principal/superintendent about it cause that's real BS. Brought my rank down too... Thanks for chancing^^
