Chance a late comer

I applied to FSU normal admissions after Oct. 15th. :/ I also have yet to pay the application fee. To be honest, it was because I didn't have much interest in FSU before. But now that I know about this CARE program, I'm more interested in FSU as a pre-pharmacy major. What are my chances of getting in? Please be serious because if I have no chances of getting in, I will not send in my app. fee. I plan to work on my CARE APP and submit it within 2 weeks.

ACT: 23 (both times. 24 super scored, but I don't think FSU superscores the ACT)
SAT 1050/1570
GPA: 3.49 UW; 3.9W
ECs: State French Competition. Ethics Club. NHS. French National Honor Society.
Other: Dual enrolled (will have 27 college credits by the end of the year) URM. 3 APs. 12 Honors courses.

Are you instate or out of state? I don’t think you’re scores/GPA is high enough for out of state.

instate. 10char.

I think you have a great chance of getting into care. Your scores are above the minimum requirements. I was just accepted into the program this week so I would advise you to get the app done in two weeks or sooner. and I am dual enrolled. I will have 27 credits too  I know you had do it! Remember to pay the $30 app fee. Good luck

Thank you. what were your stats?

CARE fills up quickly. You should find out if they are still accepting applications. If they are full, you may want to explore alternatives.

UW gpa 3.7 W gpa 4.5 26 ACT 1060/1650 SAT not the best but I’m thankful I got in, and I believe you can too. Just get it done and don’t procrastinate because like parent2noles said spaces do fill up. One of my friends called last week and the CARE counselor said they had plenty of room, so there is still time

Grrreatttt. I really want to apply, but the thing is FSU isn’t my number one choiceee. If I get in, I’d feel like I’d be taking someone else’s spot that would much rather be there. Mainly, FSU isn’t my #1 choice, bc it doesn’t have a pharmacy school… just the undergraduate pharmacy track. I hear about people struggling to get into a decent pharmacy school, bc the school they went to for undergrad. didn’t have a pharmacy school. That’s why I really wouldn’t want to try to transfer after I finish my undergraduate bc it’s hardddd. As of now, I’d have to say FAMU across the street is my #1 simply because it guarantees entrance to pharm. school after undergraduate. USF is 2nd, although I’m skeptical bc it’s a new school, and UF is my 3rd choice, although I doubt I will be accepted. FSU would is tied very closely with USF…

wow, thats alot. It seems like your really unsure of what to do. Honestly I feel if pharmacy is what you want to do then FAMU should be your choice because the have a great pharmacy program. I agree with you on not wanting to take someone elses spot because FSU is not your top choice. The best advice I can give you is to follow your heart. maybe when you get all of your letters from the colleges you have applied to the decision will be slightly easier. Good Luck!

You are in
