any other information needed??

What region/city are you from, how strong is your high school, what Cornell college are you applying, why are you interested in Cog Sci and/or Pub Health, and what about your background makes you a good fit for those things?

I'd say your academic record is comparable to most applicants. But I see nothing so far that makes you stand out. And they get way more applicants than they have slots to fill. They see thousands of applications that look just like yours. And they gotta turn somebody down, G.

Bottom line: Based on what I know, I'd say your chances are average. Not guaranteed by any means. And it will boil down to who you are, what you want, and what you're offering to bring to Cornell. If you can't answer all those questions clearly and compellingly in your application, I wouldn't count on an admission at all, despite your impressive academic numbers or your long list of extracurriculars, all of which doesn't tell us much when all is said and done.

JV national champs? Is that a joke?

i actually thought your extracurrics stood out. I don't really get the whole ebay thing; it just seems like a lucrative hobby, which I guess is good. I would def play up your interest in music. I actually think the long list of extracurrics might hurt you; it just makes it seem like you're trying too hard to be well-rounded, to impress the adcom.

but overall, i still think you have a good chance. and what college are you applying to?

I think you would have a chance. You just have to make your extracurricular activities sound a lot better like you are the only one doing it. You have to make it sound astonishing. That would make you app stick out even though others might have done the same thing.
