I’m really simplifying this because there’s some nuance that I’m not getting into, but applying to 20 reaches with a 10% acceptance rate generally means you have a 10% chance of being accepted to one. College admissions are independent events; there is no valid statistics equation to calculate acceptance to multiple colleges.
