Chance a low gpa with upward trend? Will chance back.

Your GPA may be a little low for Syracuse. However, you are showing an upward trend. Colleges are holistic. They’ll take into account other things like your essay, recommendations, etc… Your SATs for Syracuse is around the average. I think you have a pretty good chance, depending on your ECs.

For DePaul, again, your GPA may be low, BUT you’re showing an upward trend which is always a good thing. Your SATs are pretty good for DePaul. On Collegeboard, it says that the SAT’s just recommended and not required. Sending your scores would definitely help. It also said that application essays are very important. I believe you have a good chance in getting into this school. I’m also applying for this school this coming fall! :)

For Northeastern, Collegeboard doesn’t have a report of their GPA average, but I’d imagine yours would be on the lower side. I’m being redundant, but you’re showing an upward trend. For the SATs, the average is between 1850-2130. You’re on the lower side. Their application essay is also very important. This may be a bit of a reach, but not impossible.

Have you taken the SATs more than once? If not, I suggest you do. Yours is good, but if you want to aim for something like Northeastern, try and get at least around 2000.
Also, if you haven’t taken the ACT, you should. Some people do better on it than the SAT.

What are your ECs like? Colleges definitely don’t just look at GPA and SAT scores. They’re holistic; they look at the person as a whole. From your community service, to your essays. So, your application essay can either make or break you! Make sure to do well on it!

Chance me on my Penn State/VCU thread?
Thanks in advance!
