Chance a math guy for top schools?

Objective:
SAT I (breakdown): 2320 (Writing 800 | Critical Reading 720 | Math 800)
SAT II (place score in parentheses): Math II (800), Physics (730)

Unweighted GPA: 3.91
Unweighted Rank: 25/425

Weighted GPA: 4.83
Weighted Rank : 7/425 - fairly competitive public school

I realize that my unweighted GPA/rank isn't stellar, but will colleges even see/take into consideration my unweighted rank? I've taken the absolute most difficult course load possible at my school, hence why my weighted rank is in the top 2%.

AP (place score in parentheses): Calc BC (5), Statistics (5), US History (5), English Lang (5), World History (5), Physics C: Mech (5), Physics B (5), European History (4)

Summer Courses: took 2 courses at top state university in my state and received A's in both.

Senior Year Course Load: AP Micro/Macro, AP English Lit, AP Human Geography, 2-3 classes per semester dual enrolled at top state University (calc 3, differential equations, and multiple 4000 level math courses - will basically have most of my undergrad degree in math completed at the top university in my state should I actually attend next year)

Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): National Merit Semi-Finalist, National AP scholar, Nominee and Winner of top STEM Student in my school for a state scholars program, AIME Qualifier, other school awards

Subjective:
Extracurriculars (place leadership in parentheses): Mu Alpha Theta (President), Physics Club (President and co-founder), Test writer for Mu Alpha Theta (alg2 and geometry), Math team (captain and coach), Science Bowl (captain), AAU Basketball for 2 years on a good team - 2nd place in state, Varsity basketball on a very good team - went to states twice, youth group leader, basketball coach at camps, tutoring.

Extracurricular Achievements and awards: tons of local and state math team awards, authored three 20+ page study guides for my school's math team as the coach of three of our divisions (geometry, alg2, pre-calc), various small awards in basketball, AAU all-tournament team awards, AAU team won several tournaments and placed second in state, captain of the only division of my school's math team to place at states, President of one of the largest chapters of Mu Alpha Theta in country (175+ members). Math is definitely my passion and I fully intend to depict this in my essays.

Job/Work Experience: Math Tutoring a few times a week

Volunteer/Community Service: Church Trip (75 Hours), Salvation Army (75 Hours), Math coaching/tutoring after school almost every day (300+ hours), Youth Group leader (25+ hours), basketball camp (60 hours), other various projects/activites (15)

Summer Activities: Various Dual Enrollment Classes at top State University, lots of summer basketball, Mu Alpha Theta test writing, writing study guides for math team

Essays: Should be great. My common app essay will be about math, others should also be good.

Teacher Recommendations: One will be from one of my math teachers who I've known since elementary school and should be excellent, other from my English teacher who loves me.

Counselor Rec: He likes me, should be good

Additional Rec: One from a basketball coach - I've tremendously helped his son in math through tutoring and he can attest to my hard work in basketball

Intended Major: Mathematics

Vanderbilt
Duke

Bump

@dn4144 - you will be a qualified candidate everywhere and thus your odds will be better than most. I imagine you will get into at least one of HYPSM, and most of the others on the list. Make sure you show your passions and your vision of your future come through in your essays and interviews.

Do you have an application strategy yet? Are you planning to apply EA to any of these schools?

Thanks! Yes, I’m planning on doing SCEA to Harvard.

Oh and Georgia Tech EA as well

Have you qualified for AIME or USAMO?

Why did you choose to lie about some parts of your post? Last year, you made a thread about how you increased your score to 2310. Then, in the summer, you said you had a 2260. Now, you are at 2320. What else in this post is projected, or not true in general?

Wake Forest MATCH
Georgia Tech MATCH
Vanderbilt MATCH
Duke REACH
Columbia REACH for anybody
Stanford REACH for anybody
MIT REACH for anybody
Harvard REACH for anybody
Princeton REACH for anybody
Yale REACH for anybody

@AnnieBeats‌
Rather than jump to conclusions, why don’t you think rationally? The most likely occurrence is that OP super scored and didn’t lie. Let’s be real.

Instead of wasting your time searching up his post history, why don’t you just chance him?

Anyways, Wake Forest and Gtech are matches. The rest are reaches.

@Oberyn What’s the point for chancing something that isn’t real? It would be even less accurate than normal.

@AnnieBeats‌ OP is using hypothetical SAT scores. So, OP, provided you end up getting the 2320, I’d say all schools on your list, except Wake Forest and GT, are reaches but possible. And no, unweighted ranking does not matter.

Prior post: SAT I (breakdown): 2260 (Writing 800 | Critical Reading 660 | Math 800) planning to re-take and improve CR to 720+

Most of the schools are reaches dude. But yeah Match for wake forest and G. Tech and High match for Vanderbilt

@Mudbloodprince97‌ What in the world are you talking about? Please don’t spread misinformation. Vanderbilt is not a high match for anyone. Even if the OPs projected score is 2400, Vandy isn’t a high match.

@AnnieBeats‌ and @Oberyn‌ quit acting like a bunch of babies you too!! So mature! Good match for all the schools for mentioned your love of math really shows out

^^^ @Mudbloodprince97‌ you deserve to be scolded also!!! You bunch of morons!

@tryhardalay Lol how is someone a good match if what you are seeing isn’t actually real? But that’s not any of my business. Sips cup of Lipton and leaves

Wake Forest: Low match
Georgia Tech: Low match/Match
Vanderbilt: High match
Duke: Reach
Columbia: Reach
Stanford: Reach
MIT: Reach
Harvard: Reahc
Princeton: Reach
Yale: Reach
