So I applied after my first semester of college, and my application was put on hold for winter semester grades. My cumulative ended up being a 3.84. Here are the classes I took this year at Oakland U:

Calc III: 3.6
Physics I: 3.9
Physics II: 3.6
English Comp II: 3.9
Gen Chem I: 4.0
Computer Programming (Equivalent to Michigan's ENGR 101): 4.0
Macroeconomics: 3.8

Over the summer I'm taking the physics laboratory and Differential Equations, so I will be done with all the engineering prereqs by Fall '11. In H.S., i took AP Calc BC and AP German so I have the Calc 1 & 2 requirements fulfilled. My H.S. GPA was a 3.74. I had good extracurriculars and pretty good essays. I have epilepsy and I wrote about how I have struggled through my freshman year with it and how I have overcome it, not allowing my academics to suffer.

I'm just waiting to send in my winter semester grades because my stupid professor sent them in late to the registrar and now I can't send them for a couple weeks because it shows an R on my transcript. Is this going to hurt my chances by not getting my grades to them as quickly? I really thought my GPA was going to turn out a lot worse this semester and it worked out for the better in the end, so I am wondering if I actually have a shot as a first year transfer.
