Chance a Musical Transfer Etudiante!

Hey to all,

SOO, I auditioned/applied to McGill's schulich school of music and got rejected last year.

Here I am now at Tulane and hating it...so I'm taking the next semester off and thinking about reauditioning/applying for fall of '08.

at least for the academic qualifications,

I have a 3.93 gpa (for the 1st semester)-16 credits

high school:
3.7UW/3.99W
sat: 1860 (570R/600M/690W)

Wondering if it's possible at least with the new gpa in hand? Lol.

To be honest, I don't think it was your original GPA that hurt you, so the new GPA (though really good looking) might not help you that much. I think it's gonna come down to your audition again.

Man, as a transfer student, be happy you can get a 3.93 at Tulane...you get that here and they fly you to Oxford on a full scholarship...meaning, divide that in half to get a reasoanble estimate of your new GPA...

Seriously though, I doubt Tulane is that much worse. It's in New Orleans, similar to Montreal and a lot nicer weather right now.

This school busts your balls too much relative to the prestige/endowment. I mean, I love being here, Montreal's great. But there's times I wanna leave too.
