<p>It depends on your activities, your recommendation and your essay. My D. got in with identical SATs; slightly better grades (all A’s throughout HS except one A-), same AP scores. </p>

<p>I’d say your Muslim identity and cultural background are pluses–ND really, really wants more diversity. The campus is 85% Catholic and 90% white. </p>

<p>If your parents are immigrants, be sure that fact works its way into your recs or something. That will help too.</p>
