P.S.- Do you think I might possibly get a scholarship?

Yep, I’ll bet they offer you entry in the honors program. If they do, take it. It can come with a dean’s scholarship.

Did you apply early action? If so, you should know next Thurs the 16th.

Yes, I did apply early action. The website says we will know by December 31. I would love to know on December 16. Northeastern and Boston University are my top choices. I’m also hoping that I become a National Achievement Finalist, in which case I will qualify for a full scholarship from Northeastern

Have you visited both schools? NU has a much better campus and buildings.

I haven’t been to either school. I live in Florida so it would be kinda hard. I’ve just been accepted to BU today. Hopefully I get a decision from Northeastern in a few days. After being accepted to BU, I’m pretty sure I’m getting into Northeastern, which makes me sooo happy and excited!!!

Congratulations! They are both great schools. However, in my opinion, NU beats BU hands down on the campus, modern wired and wireless facilities, good dorms and food, and the co-op program. The co-op program alone is worth picking NU over BU. The campus and structure of the program seals the deal.

Good luck!

really. you know it’s funny because in the beginning I thought BU was better but then I did do some research about NU and I was starting to lean more toward NU but I had already applied ED to BU so now I don’t know if I have a choice.

Congrats on getting accepted to BU! Have you posted on their ED thread?

You will have a ball at either one, I’m sure. When you get into NU, you can ask BU if ED is truly binding. Maybe they wouldn’t mind offering admission to another student in your place.
